PUBLIC PROGRAMME

Alongside the curated exhibitions, Our Croydon offered a series of free and accessible public events dedicated to community archiving and storymaking, and based on the themes of shared heritage and personal legacy as explored throughout the Our Croydon project.

These events included a screening of Our Croydon’s ‘Legacy’ film accompanied by a conversation with filmmaker Nina Mdwaba, a talk and theatre workshop with Racheal Nanyonjo, Co-Creator/ Director of Recognition, and a listening and scoremaking workshop with Our Croydon commissioned artist felix taylor.

This series of public events provided a variety of offerings for everyone in the wider community to enjoy and take part in.
