Ways of Listening & Score Making with felix taylor
Artist felix taylor led a workshop exploring different modes of listening and graphic score making. The aim of the session was to encourage participants to think about their own musical tastes and experiences, as well as exploring the music of Croydon composer Samuel Coleridge Taylor. Through these explorations, the workshop encouraged all participants to become composers, musically aligned or not. Together, the group collaboratively wrote and performed graphic scores in small groups inspired by experimental composers and the furthest reaches of modern music.
